This calculator shows you how much net wealth you have compared to Hungarian households, based on MNB data. The percentiles (dividing the total population into 100 equal parts) were created using data from the Hungarian National Bank (MNB) for 2014, 2017, 2020 and 2023, and have been adjusted for the estimated wealth growth between 2023 and 2025. The calculation also includes the value of your primary residence, so make sure to include that. The calculation is done in forints (taking an exchange rate of 400 HUF per euro into account). In the chart below you can also look at wealth percentiles for several periods and compare your wealth to those (but naturally, the 2025 table reflects the current wealth percentiles).
